When X turned 37 months’ old, he took an interest in our neighbour’s Micro bullet scooter. The fact that it was 2-wheel and required balancing did not put him off.
He was roused by the challenge and kept trying on his own accord. It was really different from Z’s time when we had to request for him to try. We could really see the difference in the boys’ characters emerging.
On the next day, he took Z’s Micro Sprite and tried again and again. He stopped when he was tired but he really took a lot of initiative in parking, trying and playing.
Unfortunately, he was not as receptive in the swimming class. He was far too shy of the coach to do what was required of him at the class. We shall see where this would lead to.
